Am I Eligible?

Who Can Access DVA Cleaning Services in Sydney?

DVA home cleaning is available to veterans who meet certain card and medical criteria. Here's a simple guide:

Gold Card Holders

Veterans holding a DVA Gold Card (Totally and Permanently Incapacitated, or War Widow/er) are eligible for home cleaning if they have a clinical need. Most Gold Card holders can access this service fully funded with no gap payment.

White Card Holders

Veterans with a DVA White Card (Veteran Card) may be eligible for home cleaning services when the need is directly related to their accepted service-related condition. A referral from a GP or allied health professional is typically required.

Clinical Need Assessment

DVA requires that a clinical need exists — for example, a physical condition, injury, or illness that prevents the veteran from performing domestic tasks themselves. We can assist you in understanding what documentation is required.

War Widows & Widowers

Surviving partners of eligible veterans holding a Gold Card may also be entitled to DVA-funded cleaning services. Call us and we'll help clarify entitlements based on your specific circumstances.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about DVA Cleaning in Sydney

What is DVA home cleaning and who funds it?
DVA home cleaning is a domestic support service funded by the Department of Veterans' Affairs for eligible veterans. DVA pays approved providers directly — eligible veterans typically pay nothing out of pocket.
I have a Gold Card — am I automatically eligible?
Gold Card holders have the broadest access to DVA-funded services. Most Gold Card holders can access home cleaning with DVA funding, provided there is a clinical or functional need. Call us on 0481 529 654 and we'll help determine your specific entitlement.
Do I need a referral from my doctor?
In many cases, a GP referral or allied health assessment is part of the DVA approval process — particularly for White Card holders. We can guide you on what documentation is required and help coordinate with your healthcare provider where needed.
How do you handle the DVA paperwork?
We manage the DVA registration and approval process on your behalf. Once you contact us, we prepare the service agreement, liaise with DVA for approval, and set up billing directly with them. You simply confirm you want the service — we handle the rest.
How often will my home be cleaned under DVA?
Frequency is determined by your DVA assessment. Common arrangements include weekly or fortnightly cleans. We'll confirm your approved frequency once the DVA approval process is complete.
What areas of Sydney do you cover for DVA cleaning?
We cover all Sydney suburbs including the CBD, Inner West, Eastern Suburbs, Northern Beaches, North Shore, Western Sydney, South Western Sydney, and the Sutherland Shire. Call us to confirm your area.
